MTB

With the big freeze set to continue, mountain biking and spinning classes seem to be the order of the day. Tonight’s (1Dec) MTB outing was attended by Chris from the dark side, Big Al, Aaron and Chris from the other side. By the sounds of it, they had a good night flying through snow filled tracks of the parks……..

This weekend – not sure what’s happening on the road, but there’s plenty on the MTB scene with local routes, and two away events on Sunday (5Dec) in Belfast – Triple Peaks and Trailquest.

Triple Peaks is an epic that requires real stamina cresting the peaks of Black mountain, Divis and Cavehill with great views over Belfast. The other is at lower altitudes taking in the green bits of Belfast that make up the Lagan Valley regional park – lots of fun assured – as it’s Round2 of the popular DromaraCC Trailquest (check their web site for details dromaracc.co.uk). Both events meet on Sunday morning 9:30am, Lady Dixon Park (café), Upper Malone Road, Belfast BT17 9LA.  Note, those on Triple Peaks can meet Lawrence at Foyle Bridge 7am.
